at work.

What is the policy's purpose?

To reduce risk to the company and your employees by outlining consistent and approved behavior for workplace AI
tool use.

Who does the policy cover?

Who might use AI on the company’s behalf, including employees, contractors, consultants,
and vendors?

Where do our people use AI?

This could mean geographical location (e.g., domestic or abroad) and physical location (e.g., remote, hybrid, or in-office).

How might they use AI?

Which teams and functions are most likely to use or benefit from AI tools? What data or resources could be inputs, and how does this affect risk?

These questions and answers help guide the AI policy direction. They offer a starting road map to understanding where AI use is most likely to occur, how much AI use is likely, and how deeply AI use may impact the organization’s operations.
